Does each velocity from getConductionVelocity correspond to a mesh vertex coordinate from userdata.surface.triRep.X?

Hi,

Looking for clarification here. From the length of the arrays, it seems like the returned CV's correspond to a vertex on mesh, is this correct?

In other words, would it be correct to create a table joining the outputs of getConductionVelocity() and userdata.surface.triRep.X respectively?

That's a good question! I think for most of the methods the CV is calculated for each vertex on the mesh. However, some methods require that the CV is calculated for each cell in the mesh. I'm not too sure which methods return vertex or cell CVs, but perhaps @gharaviri could provide a little more info here
