Inconsistent filter menu placement

Filter menu dropdowns are sometimes placed incorrectly after the first opening if the user switches between tabs after the first open.

Expected behavior: filter dropdowns are always placed directly below the filter the user clicks on.

Actual behavior: dropdowns are sometimes placed in the wrong spot (no longer below the button that opened them) when the enabled filters change due to tab changes.
