Provide an S3 API

Some tools have started to use the S3 API to access data. It would be great if OpenCloud could provide an S3 API endpoint to integrate with these tools.

Couldn't we just add an authentication endpoint for that to the proxy and access an unterlying s3(minio) through that?

Yeah, that might work. Auth is one problem, making minio use the correct paths is another one. But this would be one solution, yes.

This does also make sense for setups that do not use Minio, but other storage backends. Many software out there can "talk" S3 protocol...

Yes would make sense, but is more complicated to achieve, since you need to implement the full s3 protocoll and not "just" modify the request and pass it through the proxy.

Is it not like just a new client api for opencloud. I already can via API upload files to my opencloud space. It would be just a translater from S3 Api to OpenCloud API.
