"Start at Login" setting in MacOS Client is not persistent

Checking the "Start at Login" check box is not persistent. The client neither starts automatically nor the checkbox state is remembered after switching to other modules in the client.

Used version:

OpenCloud 2.0.0 [f1b954](https://github.com/opencloud-eu/desktop/commit/f1b954ef9d8dc8bafe076fc34835abec498a81ae)
Libraries Qt 6.8.3, OpenSSL 3.4.1 11 Feb 2025
Using virtual files plugin: off
OS: macos-24.6.0 (build arch: arm64, CPU arch: arm64)
QPA: cocoa

I have the same problem. I installed by running OpenCloud_Desktop-v2.0.0-macos-clang-x86_64.pkg from release page.

The log says:

Trying to touch a file within this location also fails. Library path seems to be protected from myself, too.

Hmm can you check the owner of ~/Library/LaunchAgents

I would assume this is the default and there might be MacOS APIs which would allow to react on and display a note/window to provide admin credentials to allow putting something in there.

I have created a new user and the permissions there are "different" probably correct. No idea why and what has changed permissions for my user?! Maybe the whole issue can be considered as "invalid" then. But @aasmoe mentioned, the behaviour for her/him is the same as for me.

If I can be of help for debugging I can do so if I get instructions:) ls -l ~/Library/LaunchAgents did not return anything

@aasmoe could you please run the client with logs enabled https://docs.opencloud.eu/docs/user/desktop-client/logging .
Then toggle the autostart checkbox a couple of times.
I would be interested in lines containing sync.utility.
