Default distro in Travis changed, breaking build

The travis build is currently broken. It looks like its because the default distro they use to run builds changed, and thus the available packages changed, and this broke the build. I'm pretty sure some of the packages we apt get aren't actually needed anymore, so this should be an easy fix.
