Are MCPServer and MCPServerSse clients?

I have been reading docs and trying out examples from the agents sdk. I found it a little confusing (what it looks like to me as) the clients for MCP Servers are called as MCPServer and MCPServerSse because they connect to the server using a set of configuration, list tools and prompts, and execute tools. Or am I missing something here?

Yes, these are effectively clients.

We looked at those as "MCP server definitions" that agent has access to so ended up with Server suffix in the name.
