Merge ARM branch into Core

I think it's (almost) time to merge the ARM branch into core.

Here is a working list of things that should probably happen before that:

For resonate, I believe we should tag the current version add a master branch and merge from there and create a stripped down tarball for armv6 (RPi) and one for armv7 (panda, pcDuino, etc).

Who can help? Perhaps we can plan a merge day?

@bakercp we - me and @Meach did a Pandaboard doc for the wiki (the Getting Started) . i think we can publish it, in this way you and other can correct or improve some parts. There is already a some info but i want delete that. How to backup the old one?
