Pull request

Documents the release model: this repository holds the immutable release archives and manifests and is the ground truth; component tags are navigation aids on the recorded commits. Records that the v0.0.1 component tags were added on 6 October 2026 and verified against the archive, and sets the version plan for OpenAMRobot 2.0: v2.0.0-rc.1 (20 November 2026 pre-release) and v2.0.0 (18 December 2026).

Scope: README.md and RELEASE_PROCESS.md only. release-config.json, scripts/ and release-metadata/ are unchanged. Documentation only; no build, validation or safety impact.

Document that this repository's immutable release archives and
MANIFEST.json are the release ground truth, that component tags are
navigation aids on the recorded commits, the v0.0.1 component tag
backfill, and the OpenAMRobot 2.0 version plan. Add the component
tagging and release-candidate steps to RELEASE_PROCESS.md.

Thanks for documenting the release model. The distinction between authoritative release archives/manifests and component tags is clear, and the planned release dates are explicitly marked. The component tagging and release-candidate steps are helpful additions to the release process.
