Please release a new version with the updated shell-quote dependency (fixes CWE-407)

Hi maintainers,

I've received a dependabot alert about shell-quote (CWE-407). The affected version is <= 1.8.4.

I noticed that shell-quote has already been bumped here.

Would it be possible to bring out a new release?

Why are the dependencies pinned to particular versions in the first place? This wouldn't be a problem in the first place if there weren't pinned.
