Manager automatically add package dependencies to a project

Does OAS automatically scan a project or does it expect people to manually insert each required plugin and its version?

The Registry specification only defines that plugins should be there, but not how.

The Manager specification outlines that users should be add to add/remove dependencies, and install all, uninstall all dependencies:

It does not specify an auto scanning method. It would be DAW-specific to detect the plugins used in the DAW project and add them automatically to the project file. This is further tricky because the plugin installed may or may not be in the registry, or may have been manually installed. It's definitely a gap which needs to be solved, but for now a user must manually add/remove plugin dependencies for their project.json.
