I don't think this is ideal still. I can try some middle-ground solution tomorrow, to see how it looks.

This particular fix is targeted at tablet landscape. The effects on desktop is minimal I agree. We can alternatively have an alternative drawable for tablet landscape and desktop which is more isolated towards the top of the screen |
