oneAPI Community Onboarding
The oneAPI Community is everyone who is interested in heterogeneous computing using oneAPI. The community is split into collaborators, consumers, and enthusiasts.
A collaborator is someone who is interested in contributing their oneAPI know-how through contributing of documentation, source code, bug fixes, features or working upstream on the various SYCL compiler implementation, the Intel toolkits powered by oneAPI, or enabling oneAPI in Free and Open Source projects.
The stakeholder is those who want to incorporate oneAPI as part of their projects. oneAPI enables heterogeneous computing across accelerators allowing for code-reuse, portability, and ever increasing performance. The stakeholder is interested in creating projects that use oneAPI to build interesting things.
The enthusiast is someone who is interested in getting others to become part of the community. The enthusiast is community oriented, loves working with people, and is motivated to teach others through workshops, conferences, and meetups.
Which one are you? Regardless of ability, everyone is welcome to be part of this community!
