Output is to wrong location

The documentation says the output will be to public/js/app.js
However, the plugin does not output there, it outputs to
public/js/app.js/app.js

This is obviously strange and incorrect to have a folder named app.js

I think this line:
.pipe(gulp.dest(dest || './public/js/app.js'));
should be:
.pipe(gulp.dest(dest || './public/js'));
