YouTube to MP3 Converter

A modern desktop application to convert YouTube videos to high-quality MP3 files with progress tracking and notifications.

Installation

1. Download YouTube-to-MP3-Setup.exe
2. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
3. Choose your preferred installation location
4. The installer will create desktop and Start Menu shortcuts

Prerequisites

Before using the app, you need to install FFmpeg on your system:

Option 1: Manual Installation

1. Download FFmpeg from https://ffmpeg.org/download.html
2. Choose the Windows build (static version)
3. Extract the ZIP file
4. Create folder C:\ffmpeg
5. Copy ffmpeg.exe from the extracted bin folder to C:\ffmpeg\ffmpeg.exe

Option 2: Using Chocolatey

choco install ffmpeg

Option 3: Using Scoop

scoop install ffmpeg

Usage

1. Launch "YouTube to MP3 Converter" from desktop shortcut or Start Menu
2. Paste a YouTube URL (youtube.com or youtu.be)
3. Click "Download MP3"
4. Monitor the progress bar
5. The MP3 file will be saved to your Downloads folder with the video title as filename
