Naive French transation for website

I made a bodge to have a french version of the documentation webpage, it's a simple copy/paste of the index.html page with all the text translated.

FWIW, localisation with github pages is kind of a lost cause: jekyll does not have i18n built-in and any plugin to that effect won't work with github pages (reference: github/pages-gem#401)

Hope it's ok, I needed the french docs up ASAP (it's running on my own gh pages) and hence i contribute it here

Thanks a lot! I guess for now this is indeed the best solution, and if there will be more than a few translations in the future I will have to rethink how to make the process better.
