I've read this several times and don't understand....

Admittedly, the link I've highlighted there goes to the wrong page, but it does not go to the page you mention...

Please could you clarify, with screenshots, the exact location and nature of the problem?

For example, does it give a 404 page missing,.. or something else?

Hello, sorry for the confusion.

Part of the issue is that a lot of this information is repeated in different ways on multiple pages which all seem to link together. I can clarify more the type of difficulty that I had finding the documentation to try to determine how to add a custom status with its own css code, but feel it might be out of the scope of this issue. (I did find what I needed, in the end)

That "nearly" sounds like it could be doing quite a lot of work.

What is the reason for the update, and am I going to have to recreate the screenshots as well as updating the link?
And presumably I should update the copy of that snippet in Tasks' test vault.

As you may see, this is potential several more steps than updating a URL, if it is all to be self-consistent, and it would be really helpful if this ticket could give a full indication of the benefits, and changes required....

Yes, a handful screenshot updates would be required in order to make it match the current state of the snippet. I would be willing to take the new screenshots and provide help if desired, as I currently have the snippet up and running in my repository.

What was the reason you updated to the new snippet?

The author has said that the old version of the script is defunct and to use the new version in the documentation, so I did. I did not have any particular reason beyond that.
