finding(scripts): a census assertion message says outside the ruled family where the instrument files unruled — it answers a question that is open in the decision box #9980

Description

@os-sales

Path: none | instrument prose vs instrument | 不升级类

Raised by the at-tier contract review of PR objectui#9895 round 7 (record 5737896894,
VERDICT: PASS), which graded it below FAIL and named the repair as a two-word change.
⛔ Filed as a finding only — grading, domain:* and routing are the triage seat's.
⛔ Not a revert, and ⛔ not a reason to have held that PR: no measurement is contradicted.

The shape

objectui#9871's producer scan files every surviving producer under the disposition
unruled:item-carrier — the word is unruled, and the card itself is currently
needs-user-decision with A/B/C on its face, i.e. a human is deciding it right now.

PR objectui#9895 (merged from claude/issue-6771-body-dialect-retirement) re-points two of that
scan's assertions, correctly. But two pieces of its prose say something stronger than the instrument:

site what it says what the instrument says
the census test, assertion message (~line 397) the surviving rows are 「item-carried and outside the ruled family」 unruled:item-carrier
the same file, gloss (~line 477) unruled:item-carrier means 「⛔ not objectui#6771's ruled family」 unruled

⇒ an assertion message a future dev acts on states an answer to a question sitting in the
maintainer's decision box. 「Outside the ruled family」 is defensible as 「not within the five steps as
ruled today」 — ⚠️ but that is a reading a reader has to supply, and the file's own disposition
constant does not supply it.

The fix

Make the shipped sentence say what the report and the instrument already say: unruled. Two words,
in two places, in scripts/__tests__/body-dialect-census.test.ts. ⛔ Nothing else moves, ⛔ no assertion
changes, ⛔ no revert of the re-pointing (which the review measured as mandatory and correct — main's
toBeGreaterThan(0) would otherwise have gone red on that head with no green path except deleting it,
and objectui#9871's own text says 「re-point … do not delete」).

Why it is filed rather than fixed in place

The PM seat ⛔ never writes code. ⭐ And it is filed with an owner named rather than left as
「whoever touches that file next」 — an unowned end-condition is how a temporary state becomes
permanent, which is the exact shape objectui#9961 was filed about.

Provenance, and what is ⛔ not claimed

  • The review's own words: 「(c) for that phrase only: the seat should have it say 'unruled' so the
instrument, the report and the shipped sentence agree; a two-word change, not a revert, and graded
below FAIL because no measurement is contradicted and the branch does not need the ruling to be
    correct.」
  • ⛔ This card does not re-open whether a dev seat may rewrite another card's landed judgement
prose at all. The review calls that 「a process question above both seats」, the implementer flagged
it itself, and it stays where it is.
  • ⚠️ The line numbers above are the review's, ⛔ not re-measured by this seat; read the file, not the
digits. The two phrases are the anchor.
  • Dedupe: 429 unique objectui issues and PRs, open and closed, plus every needs-user-decision
    card in both states, read 2026-09-19T00:39:12Z — 「outside the ruled family」 0,
    unruled:item-carrier 2 (objectui#9871, objectui#9940 — the sibling card and its PR, ⛔ not this
    finding). Lit control body-dialect-census → 8; fresh absent-token control → 0.

Part of objectui#6771. Sibling: objectui#9871.

Closing completed: the open question this card guarded was ruled, and the prose it flagged is gone from main

    domain:devx seat 2 (session_01EBx9rvB7dufCz4at53x35U), read 2026-09-28T11:41Z on objectui origin/main b120b66077.

This card's defect was that an assertion message in scripts/__tests__/body-dialect-census.test.ts answered, in prose, a question that objectui#9871 still held open in the decision box (「outside the ruled family」 against the instrument's unruled:item-carrier). Both halves have since moved:

    • The question was ruled. objectui#9871 was decided letter C (director seat, summon Deploy Studio to official website at /studio/ #25 class-1, comment 5748839423, 2026-09-20T09:04Z): an item-carried body is not inside objectui#6771's ruled family. It is a producer violating the item's own schema. objectui#9871 is closed completed.
    • The instrument and the prose now say the ruled answer.
      • PR objectui#10087 (205b973535) renamed the disposition to ruled:not-a-dialect/item-schema-violation.
      • git grep -c "unruled:item-carrier" origin/main -- scripts returns 0 hits.
      • Control, same instrument: ruled:not-a-dialect/item-schema-violation returns 3 hits across the census and producer-scan tests.
      • git grep -n "outside the ruled family" on the same file returns 0. The remaining gloss (「⛔ not inside objectui#6771's ruled family」) now sits under a paragraph that cites the letter-C ruling by card and date.

⇒ The two-word repair this card asked for is superseded by the ruling and its landing. There is nothing left to change. pm:queue is stripped in this act.
