scripts/pm/check-half-states.mjs is contracted by objectstack#11217 to travel verbatim, one copy per repo — the sibling copy is the install. It has since accumulated assumptions that only hold in this repo. Three separate defects, one root, all measured on a real sibling install (cloud at b943e4d, sweeper copied byte-for-byte from origin/main 8fe5cb8e).

Two incompatible postures to the same condition live in the same file:

  • H43 degrades on purpose and names its absence: 「Copy the pair to enable this row; every other row is unaffected」.
  • H62 / H63, added later, hard-fail on the identical absence — readFileSync then assert length > 0.

Failing probe, in a three-file install (the adopt list's own set):

    Upstream: #18471 is still open, but this card's work is folded into it. The batch #144 ruling absorbed #18466 into #18471 (director pointer 5713655477), and the plan was to close this card with that landing.

    Re-derived: PR #19225 (Part of #18471, merged 2026-09-20) replaced the verbatim-copy install with a composite action that checks out the whole objectstack tree at the pinned sha. The sibling files H62, H63 and H43 need now travel with it, so the install this card reports on is retired whichever way #18471's open question is answered. The per-board constant (item 3) is recorded in #18471's dev report as reported per board, not plumbable.

    New state: closed as a duplicate of #18471. The 2026-09-20 PM_SWEEP_REPO self-test reading (5750016616) stays on this closed card as a searchable record.
