Bug: Attempt to index local 'state' (a nil value)

Hi there,

I'm getting this error while using neo-tree on the v2.x branch, tag 2.47 hash 73a90f6a736b. My checkout is clean, and I don't think anything I did in other plugins or in the neo-tree config could be responsible? That being said, if it's not something I did, I'm surprised nobody else has opened a ticket cause this has been happening to me for a few weeks now.

Am I causing this somehow?

When do you get that error exactly? Does it happen when you run a certain command? Is the tree open already or not? What is your config?

As far as I can tell it does not happen with a particular action, or if it does, I haven't been able to figure out which. I just see it all the time. Sometimes it happens when switching buffers, pasting, using j or k, etc. Happens both when the tree is open and when it isn't.

I do get the same errors with your config, but not with my normal config. I'll take a look and figure out what is going on.

Oh, interesting. Thanks for confirming, I'll do some debugging on my end too then, now that I know it's in the config.

The problem happens when you have a sources config item that deos not include all of the built-in sources:

This is a bug and will be fixed.
