Demonstration mp3 has some spikes in volume that could make it hard to listen to #1

Hi,

I'm just browsing NVDA's GitHub and came across audioScreen.

When listening to the demonstration, I noticed that it has some very loud parts. I imagine this isn't a problem while using the software, because users can lower the volume of their PC if needed.

However, since the demonstration mp3 has fixed audio levels, it's either hard to hear the speech contained, or else very loud hearing the effects while exploring an image.

I think there may be ways to "compress" these volume differences in an audio editor, such as Audacity.

I don't have enough experience to know for sure how fruitful this would be, but I could give it a shot. I think it might improve the listening experience of the demonstration.

Anyways, this is an interesting project, and I appreciate that NVDA is making these software projects available to the public, especially as they are offered at no cost.

Regards,

DeeDeeG
