Nuxt Installation Template Selection Feels Blind

It looks like the Nuxt installation flow has changed, and I’m not a fan of making blind selections.

Which template would you like to use?

│  ○ content – Content-driven website
│  ● minimal – Minimal setup for Nuxt 4 (recommended)
│  ○ module – Nuxt module
│  ○ ui – App using Nuxt UI

The options don’t make it clear what will or won’t be included in each template. I prefer starting with a blank project, but even when selecting “module – Nuxt module”, it installs several things I don’t need. The previous manual setup was much clearer.

We should document it better, right. For you: second minimal is right. Module is a Nuxt module, ui wanna use Nuxt UI, andn content is a great Content Module, but not what you want for a clear Nuxt app.

We should move minimal at first and Nuxt UI app at second.

Also, Current installation allows installing unsupported uncompatible modules to be installed.

I agree with him.
I believe the way Nuxt4 allowed users to select first-party modules optionally during the initial setup—just like in the previous version—was much clearer.
Alternatively, I think placing the minimal option at the top would also be a good approach.
