Local library doesn't show folder list

Description of the issue:

When I open the 'Local Library', then click on the 3rd icon (the folder one) I see a blank, white screen:

I'm expecting / hoping to see a list of folders/dirs, like the video in #1138 shows.

I'm running this via Flatpak. I've added command-line arguments as per #1793 and when I use the default list (the left-most one: the 'list of rows' view) I can see the files fine and play them fine.
