Github Unhappy Approve - Chrome Extension 🚀

Sometimes you must to approve a pull request but you look at the code and you feel sad about it. The idea comes from: https://x.com/sebjvidal/status/1839694113249096052. Github Unhappy Approve is Chrome Extension for adding an option in approve page.

Installation

To install and run Next.js Chrome Extension Starter locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/nrukavkov/github-unhappy-approve.git

2. Navigate to project directory:

   cd github-unhappy-approve
   

3. Install the dependencies using npm:

   npm install
   

For developers

To build and import Chrome Extension to chrome browser, follow these steps:

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/nrukavkov/github-unhappy-approve.git

2. Navigate to project directory:

   cd github-unhappy-approve
   

3. Install the dependencies using npm:

   npm install
   

4. Build the project:

   npm run build
   

   This will run prep and export to create new folder 'out/', and rename '_next' forlder to 'next' (without underscore)

5. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions.

6. Enable the "Developer mode" toggle switch.

7. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the out folder generated by the build process.

8. Github Unhappy Approve should now be loaded as an unpacked extension in Google Chrome.
