fsmon does not capture events when using -p or -P options on Android

When I use ./fsmon -p or the -P option, it doesn't capture anything. fsmon shows no output, as shown below:

But when using ./fsmon /data it captures:

I'm not sure if anyone has experienced the issue mentioned above, but if so, has anyone managed to resolve it?

unfortunately the inotify interface doesnt provide PID information in the events. so thats why -p/-P dont work. you may want to select a different backend like -B fanotify. maybe we can use that one by default on android/linux
