Accessing the mobile menu is impossible when using VoiceOver

How to reproduce the issue:

1. Activate VoiceOver
2. Go to Safari
3. Navigate to the Node.js website
4. Try to access the navigation menu

It really hurts the accessibility if VoiceOver users can only access the home page.

If I deactivate VoiceOver, open the menu, reactivate VoiceOver, go back to Safari, I can navigate in the menu, but not close it – although that's much less of a problem
