node101 Validator Metadata

Public validator metadata served to staking UIs and explorers. Networks store only the metadata URI on-chain; the content in this repository is fetched dynamically, so edits here go live without any on-chain transaction.

Editing

• Keep the pub_key field unchanged — it must match the validator's registered consensus key (impersonation protection).
• Validate JSON before committing: python3 -m json.tool <file>
• For Espresso, the schema is documented in the staking-cli README. Only pub_key is required; name, description, company_name, company_website and icon are optional.
• Changing the location of a file (not its content) requires an on-chain update-metadata-uri transaction — avoid moving or renaming registered files.
