Debugging on Logic

I'm attempting, maybe somewhat foolishly, to create YARG charting template in Apple Logic. I don't think midi information from the midi tracks are being passed to Chart Preview. The AU can be applied to a track as an Audio FX but this doesn't render any notes (the fretboard renders just fine). I'm not sure if Audio FX even receives midi input or just non-midi audio out... this might be reserved for the "Midi FX". I'm able to see the Chart Preview just fine on the same computer in REAPER. I think it needs to be a Midi FX to read the midi track data but I'm not 100% sure.

Chartchotic currently only works on REAPER at this time. It uses REAPER-specific APIs to read MIDI across the full timeline for multiple tracks, which the standard VST/AU spec doesn't support. Since most rhythm game charters use reaper anyways, I made the decision to build out the full feature set where more users are faster rather than limit the ux, but once that's solid I plan to backport as much as possible to work in other DAWs.
