Checklist for before prerelease

• SS testing and debugging completed (IT or KD)

• code committed and tagged in repo as v3.30.18-prerel (RM)
• prerelease exes built (KD)
• All exes added to github releases as v3.30.18-prerel (KD)
• Announce prerelease (RM) (Not sure if we want to provide release notes at this time?? Perhaps.)

Checklist for before release

• SS manual updated and tagged in repo (CW)
• SS manual added to a github release (KD or CW)
• SS GUI updated (NS)
• Make changes to SS if any bugs caught in prerelease
• code committed and tagged in repo as v3.30.18 (RM)
• Release exes built (KD)
• Exe and .tpl archived on Google drive (KD)
• Change log updated in Stock Synthesis repo (KD)
• All exes added to github releases as v3.30.18 (KD)
• Add GUI to vlab (KD)

Checklist for after release

• examples updated in user-examples repo (KD)
• Update ss-test-models reference files to the release version (KD)
• Removed "resolved" tag and close all issues worked in the milestone for this release (KD)
• Move unworked 3.30.18 issues to the 3.30.19 milestone (KD)

We are planning to finish up the release by the end of the week (Oct 1). Please feel free to check off items as they get done

We are currently aiming for a release by end of the day, Sept 30. Rick says there haven't been any reported concerns from users about pre-release.

Looks like everything is going well for a release on Sept 30th! @Rick-Methot-NOAA, if you don't have anything else to add to the code, please tag as v3.30.18 (please use this exact formatting for the tag). This should then trigger the exes to build and I can add them to a release manually tomorrow.

There is just one more "post release" item on the checklist that I will take care of shortly.
