lsp inlay hints doesn't work

I toggled inlay hints to true but it did not work for all languages

Not all language servers provide inlay hints, so it is expected that the option won't affect all language.

If there are specific servers that do have inlay hints support, but our inlay hints option isn't affecting, please let us know which ones.

I am not sure which language server here supports inlay hints, but none of them worked on my testing. Am I missing some configuration to make it work or these language servers all does not support inlay hints?

It's seems that the default for vim.diagnostic.config({ virtual_text = true }) changed, that was my problem.
Try setting programs.nixvim.diagnostics.virtual_text to true.

Yeah, diagnostic virtual text has changed with latest nvim. Also, they have the addition of virtual lines.

seems like a gopls issue, because inlay hints works for rust

Ok, so I guess that Nixvim is not at fault here. I will mark this discussion as closed. Feel free to re-open if my analysis is wrong.
