I am trying to just understand this fix.. is this related to the "bind once" vs "bind many" concept that @mratsim explains in https://forum.nim-lang.org/t/5008#31415 ? |

This is actually a workaround. The real fix will be in the compiler but it's scheduled for version 1.1. |
