Javadoc for TemplateDictionary.showSection() says sections are shown by default.  They are not.

The javadoc for TemplateDictionary.showSection(String) says "Sections are shown 
by default.".  Yet, when I add a child section by calling addChildDict(String) 
the resulting section is hidden by default.  Which is it?  Is this 
hidden-by-default behavior consistent with ctemplates?
