Helm Installation Failing

I'm following the instructions to install nginx fabric gateway with helm, and I'm seeing an error that says INSTALLATION FAILED: failed to download "oci://ghcr.io/nginxinc/charts/nginx-gateway-fabric".

Are special permissions or authentication required to pull the chart and images from the OCI repository?

There are no special permissions or authentication required to pull the chart and the OSS images, but might be that you have an expired GitHub token in your environment, or that your Docker login for ghcr.io was made with a token that is now expired.
Removing them or logging out from ghcr.io should help.
