I remember discussing this with @artonge but not what the outcome was.
It is a bit weird in old UI that email and uid are split from the other ones like that. But if I recall correctly it’s not that easy to change because DB config is made that way as well.

They are the most common options, hence have this quick access. Again, in mind were admins, that are not familiar with LDAP, so it should be easy for them to do the right thing.
