Add support for soft subtitles when viewing video-files with the internal player #52009

Description
like title says..
I have a lot of video files uploaded - when playing them using the preview / internal player´ "hard subtitles" work , but "soft subtitles" don't. Unfortunately most newer video-files (usually .mkv) now come exclusively with "soft-subtitles"
Can we have the options to:
- select a subtitle
- have it displayed
similar to many available tools?
