But when I try to start upsdrvctl.exe, it seems to send too many arguments to usbhid-ups.exe:
D:\Program Files\NUT\mingw64\sbin>upsdrvctl.exe start
Network UPS Tools upsdrvctl.exe - UPS driver controller 2.8.4.1398.4-1402+g66a388571 (development iteration after 2.8.4) using a dynamic libnutprivate*
Network UPS Tools 2.8.4.1398.4-1402+g66a388571 (development iteration after 2.8.4) using a dynamic libnutprivate* - Generic HID driver 0.71
USB communication driver (libusb 1.0) 0.53
Error: too many non-option arguments. Try -h for help.
Driver failed to start (exit status=1)
I say that because sending nonsense arguments to usbhid-ups.exe gives the same error message:
D:\Program Files\NUT\mingw64\bin>usbhid-ups.exe too many arguments
Network UPS Tools 2.8.4.1398.4-1402+g66a388571 (development iteration after 2.8.4) using a dynamic libnutprivate* - Generic HID driver 0.71
