How can i configure the github version of this (node index.mjs) with a ssl cert?

i am running this on a debian 12 box

SSL is a little outside the scope of this project. But I'll put a few notes here in case anyone else is looking for guidance.

First, if you're hosting this locally on your LAN it's going to be difficult to set up SSL because you'll have to both configure Ws4kp with a certificate, and any clients on your LAN with the matching CA (certificate authority) certificate.

If you're hosting this on the internet it's actually simpler because you can get certificates for free from Lets Encrypt. Once you have a certificate there are two options.

• The more common solution is to set up a reverse proxy with nginx or something similar. nginx would handle the SSL part of the connection, and pass the un-encrypted data locally to the Ws4kp Node server.
• It would also be possible to configure the included Express Server to use the SSL certificate you acquired directly.

@kevorm I run mine through Cloudflare Zero Trust with the rest of my self-hosted apps. It's free (excluding buying a domain, but Cloudflare DNS hosting is also free) then you can either make it publicly accessible (mine is, because honestly it'll be fun if it ever gets "discovered" lol) or lock it down with authentication and geofencing so it's not generally accessible to the public.
