All Devices tile shows 0 even though all devices do appear in the listing below

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the existing open and closed issues and I checked the docs https://jokob-sk.github.io/NetAlertX/

The issue occurs in the following browsers. Select at least 2.

• Firefox
• Chrome
• Edge
• Safari (unsupported) - PRs welcome
• N/A - This is an issue with the backend

Current Behavior

The My Devices tile shows all of my devices (31) but the All Devices tile shows 0 devices. However, when I click on the All Devices tile and scroll to the All devices section, I do see all 31 devices listed. It seems to be a UI problem only.

Expected Behavior

All Devices show 0 in the tile but should actually show 31. The devices listing below after clicking All Devices does reflect all 31 devices.

Steps To Reproduce

No steps needed, just need to add in All Devices as one of the 6 tiles.

• I have read and followed the steps in the wiki link above and provided the required debug logs and the log section covers the time when the issue occurs.

This should be available in the next release. It would be great if you could test this.

You can try mounting and thus replacing the

/app/server/const.py

with:

https://github.com/jokob-sk/NetAlertX/blob/main/server/const.py

Make sure you restart the container, refresh your browser cache - and click the 🔄 refresh button in the top right corner.

I replaced my const.py, restarted my Docker, refreshed browser cache and refreshed with the button. Now I have no tiles at all. UI_shown_cards is specified, UI_hide_empty is unmarked, UI_DEV_SECTIONS is blank. Not sure how to proceed.

Also, just wondering - what's the difference between All Devices and My Devices, assuming this works?

Hi, had some time to fix this, can you re-download the latest https://github.com/jokob-sk/NetAlertX/blob/main/server/const.py ?

All devices includes all devices, irrespective if the status is or is not in the UI_MY_DEVICES setting.
