Existing devices being wrongfully assigned "Smartphone" type

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the existing open and closed issues and I checked the docs https://jokob-sk.github.io/NetAlertX/

The issue occurs in the following browsers. Select at least 2.

• Firefox
• Chrome
• Edge
• Safari (unsupported) - PRs welcome
• N/A - This is an issue with the backend

Current Behavior

As of the latest update (v25.7.30) multiple devices that previously had no assigned Type or were assigned the "Desktop PC" type got reassigned as "Smartphone".
This includes:

• Desktop PCs
• Macbook
• Proxmox VMs
• Even my AC unit

Partial MAC samples:

• 10:ff:e0:3c
• 00:e0:4c:68
• bc:24:11:ce
• 88:e7:12:07

Expected Behavior

Devices where type detection fails should leave the type field blank.

Thanks a lot for the details.

I pushed some code changes so you can test the netalertx-dev image in about 15 minutes.

If you want even better recognition, let me know what below MAC samples should be matched to and I can include it into available patterns:
