Need to use GUI to save freeradius ?

When using fauxapi to setup "freeradius" users and "client specific overrides" for our clients, we are finding that we need to press the save button on the GUI before the client can authenticate.

Why?

After the import, we can see everything is is place and the GUI is reporting everything as it should be but clients are not authenticating until we press save on the GUI.

Very confusing
