I would have liked to contribute to this project, but there is no way (for me) to do this without some debugging.
There had been some logging/debug builds that have been shared in specific issue threads, but I cannot find their code anywhere.
I think, these debug statements would be rather important for (future) contributors to this project.
Rationale
Without consistent logging statements, every contributor/developer needs to implement them on their own.
By incorporating the (apparently already existing) logging system into the GitHub code base, people can also directly create better bug reports in the future by building the debug build on their own.
