These shouldn't require any special handling from Mission Control since they're intended for Switch. Are they not working already? If not, do they work with Mission Control disabled?

Hi, thanks for the response. The controllers are SteelPlay Twin Pads (model JS8502-X / JS8502-Y). They do not pair with the Switch at all on stock firmware (they never appear in “Change Grip / Order”), but they do advertise as “Joy-Con (L)” on Android and pair successfully with my phone. They only enter pairing mode via the physical SYNC button (fast blinking), and no button combo seems to change their Bluetooth profile. They also do not have rail contacts, so all pairing must be done over Bluetooth. I haven’t modded my Switch yet, so I haven’t been able to test them with MissionControl. I’m currently trying to determine whether MissionControl would allow them to connect since the stock Switch firmware refuses them. If there’s any logging or VID/PID information you’d like me to provide once I’m able to test with MissionControl, I’d be happy to collect it. sincerely.
