contributors graph: Add support for selecting aggregation function

The code is available in `notebooks/panel/01-timeline.ipynb`, but it needs to be adjusted for the purposes of the new place:
- there needs to be automatic description of what is displayed
- per-author plots needs to be handled correctly, and describe what they are sorted by, while still providing number of commits, additions, and deletions
