Approved at 1a15d62. An idle Claude seat in auto mode, bypass permissions or plan mode, with or without the vim INSERT marker, now reads idle instead of unknown. Mid-work evidence still wins, Codex panes are unchanged, and the default-mode footer keeps its end-of-line anchor in the composer and selection checks, so those keep main's results. Required CI passed at this head, and a combined run with current main passed the daemon suite.

When activity hooks are absent or not reporting, OpenRig falls back to pane heuristic activity detection.
IDLE_STATUS_BAR_PATTERNSinpackages/daemon/src/domain/session-transport.tsonly recognized/⏵⏵ accept edits/.
