Summary

  • format_activity_summary did not expose two fields the API already returns: tags (user-defined labels) and sub_type (e.g. COMMUTE, RACE).
  • Adds a Tags: line (comma-separated, None when empty) and a Sub-type: line (the enum rendered as Commute, Race, …; None when null).
  • This lets clients filter out commutes or find tagged activities without fetching the raw activity JSON.

Tests

  • Added test_format_activity_summary_tags and test_format_activity_summary_sub_type (synthetic data), and extended test_format_activity_summary to assert the None defaults.
  • uv run --locked pytest: 63 passed.
  • mypy src tests: no issues.
  • ruff check .: only 2 F401 warnings (get_gear_list in server.py, resolve_activity_type in power_curves.py), already present on main and unrelated to this change.

Prepared with the help of Claude Code and reviewed by me.

Adds a Tags line (comma-separated, None when empty) and a Sub-type line
(API enum such as COMMUTE rendered as 'Commute', None when null).
