Ability to leave left drawer open and disable closing?

I'm currently using the drawer and I'd like a way that when I have it in a popover of a wide-enough size, that the same component can be used, except showing the left drawer open next to the center view controller, like a split scree that doesn't close/slide.  Is that possible in this project?
