Now it is possible to make the windows longer but not wider.

@pizzicato00 If you're just talking about the Properties and Palettes panels then this is intentional - these "vertical" panels were never supposed to be horizontally resizable.

This is bad. It was all the time possible to do.
If this is not possible any more, 4.6.5 will be my last version of MuseScore :-(

As far as I'm aware, the fact that vertical panels were ever able to be resized was never by design (we've not actually designed any responsiveness for these, so it's not even clear how it should work), and it was only as a result of a Windows-specific dock widgets bug that they could be. To the best of my knowledge, these panels cannot be resized horizontally on macOS.

We should obviously address the vertical resizing issue (thank you @Eism), but horizontal resizing will only be possible as a new feature.
