Mac M1 Ventura 13.2.1 crashes upon opening or creating score

when i play the score at certain points or certain pieces even it crashes, really annoying bc i love the app and how its free but all my alevel compositions are on there and i need to be able to work on them.

Steps to reproduce

open file
play to certain point, usually last few bars
crashes
reopen
repeat
same outcome
uninstalled and same problem when reinstalled

Yes, this used to work in MuseScore 3.x and now is broken
