📥 How to Download & Use VaultIQ — Free Windows Password Manager

Step 1 — Download

⬇️ Download VaultIQ v1.0 — Windows (.exe)

File size: ~60–80 MB | No installation required — just double-click and run.

Step 2 — First Launch

1. Double-click VaultIQ.exe
2. Splash screen → Welcome screen appears
3. Click "Start 3-Day Free Trial"  (OR enter your License Key)
4. Set your Master Password (minimum 8 characters)
5. Your vault is ready — start adding passwords!

⚠️ Remember your Master Password. It is never stored anywhere. If you forget it, the vault cannot be recovered by anyone — including the developer.

Step 3 — Add a Password

1. Click "+ Add Password"
2. Enter: Site Name (e.g., Facebook)
3. Enter: Username / Email
4. Enter Password — or click "Generate" for a strong one
5. Add Notes (optional)
6. Click "Save Password" ✅

Step 4 — Use a Saved Password

Dashboard → Find your site (search or scroll)
→ "CpPW"  → Copies password  (auto-clears clipboard in 30s)
→ "CpID"  → Copies username
→ "PW"    → Reveals/hides password
→ "ID"    → Reveals/hides username

Moving to a New PC?

Option A (Recommended):
  Backup menu → "Choose Folder & Export"
  → Save to USB drive

❓ FAQ — Offline Password Manager Questions Answered

Does VaultIQ send any data to the internet?

Absolutely not. VaultIQ is 100% offline. Zero network calls, zero telemetry, zero cloud sync. Your data never leaves your PC — ever.

What happens if I forget my master password?

The master password is never stored — not even by the developer. If you forget it, the vault cannot be recovered by anyone. Always keep a secure note of your master password.

Can I use the same license on multiple PCs?

No. Each license key is cryptographically bound to one specific PC using hardware fingerprinting (CPU + MAC + MachineGUID). A new license is required for each device.

Is the free trial limited in any way?

No. The 3-day free trial gives complete access to every single feature. It simply expires after 72 hours.

Can I back up my vault and use it on a new PC?

Yes. Export your encrypted backup, install VaultIQ on the new PC, get a new license, then import your backup with your master password. All data restored perfectly.

What if the developer stops support?

Since VaultIQ is fully offline and license verification is done locally, the app will continue to work indefinitely — zero server dependency.
