Quick Start
One of the first things you'll want to do before using the app is to edit the user profile. The data you provide here is used to refine the calorie calculations.
If you give the app access to Health Kit then it can read your existing birthdate, height, weight, and biological gender information so that you do not have to enter it manually. Also, when paired with Apple Health Kit, your weight will be read each time the application starts so that this information is always up-to-date.
To start a workout, select Start Workout from the main screen. This will present you with a list of activities to choose from. After you make your selection you will be taken to the screen for that activity. From here, you can start, stop, and monitor the activity.
With location-based activities, such as running and cycling, there are two ways to start the activity: Autostart and (normal) Start. Autostart will start the activity once you being moving. This can be useful if you need to put on gloves, for example, and will be unable to use the phone's touchscreen. On the other hand, the normal Start button functions as expected and begins the activity immediately.
Press the Stop button to end the activity. At this point you will be taken to the summary screen.
