Do we need to destroy socksv5 clients when done?

We're seeing a bunch of file descriptors hanging around in our application and it seems to be related to the socksv5 client connections. I'm wondering if I'm forgetting to destroy the socks clients or the socket associated with them.

If so, how do we clean them up?
